Haruka smiled, before crouching down so that hisoka could easily get on his shoulders. He could tell the other was worried about him. It was one of the reasons he didn’t like letting people know about his health.
It made the worry needlessly even when he was fine.

Climbing onto the other’s shoulders, he allowed himself to smile for the other, patting the top of his head as a signal that he was ready. Looking up at the sky, he cupped his hand over his eyebrow, taking a look around to get a good look at where they were, so he could map the place out in his head.
“I’m fine, I just felt a bit dizzy with the heat, because it was so much cooler in the shop! But I’m fine now! Plus…” He said, thruthfully, looking around “It’s not so far here from my house, so it’s no problem! Trust me!”

“I-If you say so, Aniki-san..~” he says, before hugging the other’s hip, before waiting for the other to lower himself to be climbable. He didn’t want to attempt at climbing the other, not wanting to hurt him. He sensed how frail his big brother was, and secretly worried about him, having no idea that he was sick.
Upon the question, Hibiya turned back to the brunet and responded simply without any thought to it. “Haribote. It’s only a town or two away. Not that far.” Speaking of which, Hibiya hadn’t visited his old town in quite awhile.
His hazel hues glanced towards his feet before speaking once again. “Have you ever heard of it?”

“I’ve read a little about it in my books.. Sadly, there’s not a lot on it, though..” he says, before looking at the other with a small shy frown, wondering if he offended the other.
Hibiya nodded. “I didn’t know people lived in the forest. I usually thought most of the people that lived in this area lived in the city. But, everyone has their tastes in location, I guess.” He shrugged, offering a small smile. A short silence rolled in between the two, and Hibiya, in attempt to keep himself entertained, kicked a pebble around. It was only until Hisoka’s inquire came up, the brunet abandoned the small stone to reply.
“Yeah, I recently moved here. So, I’m not exactly from the city, but I’m from close by.”

“I see…” the medusa mused softly, deciding to play with his fingers to stem off being nervous. Looking at the other’s face, he shifted his eyes to the other’s mouth, still worried about hurting him. “Where did you live before, if you don’t mind me asking..?” The boy was very curious about his new friend, deciding to come out of his shell a little more.
“I’m fine.” he stated, trying not to worry the other. In reality, he WAS fine, but temperature shocks are bad to everyone. He ust needed a minute.
And he also needed to think about how to show Hisoka the way….
Pausing for a minute, he thought back the before they entered the shop.
“Well, what if you rode on my shoulders again? You’d be so far up it would be hard for anyone to look you in the eye….” he sugested, hoping he’d recovered enough to actually carry it out.

“Mou…. Alright..” he mutters, before hugging the other carefully. Looking up at the other’s nose, he frowned seeming worried for his big brother. “I don’t wanna hurt you, or anything… Are you sure you’re up for it…?” he asks, tilting his head in a childish manner.

“Ah, having siblings is nice,” she laughed, nodding. Her smile turned fond as she thought of her own extended family, a small giggle escaping her. Though, she was the big sister, she couldn’t ask for an exchange. She loved them all to bits, even if it was a bit exhausting to take care of them sometimes.

“It really is, ne~ It’s a lot better than being a lonely only child.” he states, before looking around the area, trying to get a good recognition of it. To his surprise, it was slightly familiar to him, causing the young medusa to skip ahead just a little to get a better look.
Haruka had been at the counter paying for the ice creams when Hisoka announced them ‘Ready to go.’
Taking the younger boy’s hand, he moved to lead them out of the shop.
Although once he passed the door, he wobbled slightly. holding onto the doorframe with his free hand. Having spent a decent ammount of time in the cold air of the shop, the heat of the street was a huge shock. And his body wasn’t the best at handling these kinds of things.
After standing still a moment to recompose himself, he asked.
“Are you sure you can learn the way blindfolded?”

Feeling the other’s weight shifting, he immediately took his blindfold off, looking at the other. “Aniki-san, are you okay?” he asks in a small worried tone of voice, petting the back of the older male’s hand.. Thinking about the other’s question he looked down in though. “I guess not.. But what about other people?” he asks, frowning worriedly. “What if I accidentally make eye contact?”
He listened to the small boy before nodding. If he was correct the edge of town was a bit far from here and so was the nearest forest. “Ok.. let’s get you home, before it get’s dark.” But why was a little boy living in a forest? Wouldn’t be be living in the city with his brother and parents? The taller male stood up and gave the small boy another pat on the head before beginning to walk, stopping a few steps later for the other to catch up.
Maybe he should hold the kid’s hand so he wouldn’t get lost, but the thought of it made him feel weird - holding hands with a little boy. He just hoped when he got the boy home he wouldn’t be treated as some sort of pedophile who tried to abduct their son or something really weird …

Following the other at a reasonable pace, he seemed to have no real issue keeping up with him. He had placed a blindfold on his eyes at this point, and was oddly enough following the male by the sound of his footsteps. He stopped right next to the other, looking up at the other’s general direction. “A-Alright..” he says, seeming to become a bit nervous, hearing footsteps of pedestrians.
If the other looked down at the boy, he would notice that with each person around, the boy got increasingly nervous, trying to tighten the blindfold, in case something happened. Little did the elder know that he was an orphan practically.

Haruka laughed, rufflinf the other’s hair a bit. “I should probably show you the way, then, so you don’t get lost….” he said, moving to slide out of the booth to go pay for the ice creams.
“And although your eyes are scary, you’re a good kid. You shouldn’t have to worry so much.” He added, smiling at his little brother.

“I see no reason to be bad..” Hisoka replies before letting off a small giggle. Sliding out of the booth, he followed his older brother like a curious lost kitten would to a person, tilting his head, before finally wrapping his eyes with his blindfold and looked up at him, giving a thumb’s up. “Ready to go~” he chirps happily.

“I see! That’s nice. He’s a good brother, yeah?” She was just speaking from personal experience since Haruka was her older brother figure in a sense. He was an upperclassman after all.

“Of course he is! I could never ask for a better big brother~!” he says, clapping his hands together with a happy boyish giggle escaping his lips. He absolutely loved having the older male as a brother, never really being scared of much, when he was around…. Well, except Takane, because he still thinks she’s an energy-eating sleepy zombie of sorts, despite Haruka’s best attempts to tell him otherwise.
Her smile grew as his did, happy he had taken a liking to her. Blinking, she nodded, humming. “Mhmn! Haruka-san is kind of like a close friend of mine, I suppose. You probably know him too, right, Hisoka-kun?”

“He’s my aniki, though I don’t actually live with him… ” he says, looking up at the other with a big smile. “He adopted me, ne~” he was beginning to show a bit more of his childish nature, since the other seemed to be very close to Haruka. Maybe he would ask him about her one of these days!
“I know you can handle yourself… But it’s still dangerous. What if a crazy person ends up there?” he said, hugging the other.
And then Hisoka invited him over.
Of course he would accept, if only to see where he lived so he could go there when he wanted or needed to.
“Well, I’d love it if you could visit me sometimes too! So if you ever want to visit me, you can!”

“Alright, Aniki-san~” he says with a grin curving his lips, looking up at the other. “I’d love to come visit you from time to time..” allowing himself to giggle, he hugged the other softly before pointing to his eyes. “People are usually too scared of these to hurt me..”
